What does "incoming mail server" mean, and where do I get the details from? Also, does that mean that the emails will not come to my computer once they are in UNOS PRO?

Hi Wan Yen,

Mail server is a computer acting as an Mail Transfer Agent that is running the appropriate software. For instance, the mail transfer agent (MTA) (also called a mail transport agent, message transfer agent) is a computer program or software agent that transfers electronic mail messages from one computer to another.

The incoming mail server is the IP address where the electronic messages are instruct to route the messages to. Different email providers have different mail server addresses. Sometimes, you need to check with the email provider or the IT dept to obtain the mail server address.

Checking the incoming mail server name can also be done in the email account.

For instance; if you using MS Outlook.
==============================
Goto:Tools -> Email account -> View/Change Existing Email info -> Select "Next"

A window will pop out and it will display out the Incoming Mail Server name.

For Outlook Express users:
====================
Goto: Tools -> Accounts

It will then pop out a window and display the Incoming Mail Server name.

Check it out okay. ;)

The UNOS PRO Push Email has been simplified. You do not need to enter all the incoming mail server name.
Just enter your email account name, the email login and password and it can be setup.

Only if you enter the details wrongly, such as incorrect password or invalid email account; then it will prompt you the screen to fill in the mail server name and security port number.
