Hi,

How was the rates calling from Malaysia to China? Or receiving call from China? Is there any other additional charges? Anyone know

Calling from Malaysia to China - RM 0.25/min (for both fixed line & mobile line)
Receiving call in China - RM 0.79/min (for both fixed line & mobile line)
DID Number/surcharge per 3 days - RM 1

Not only the international calls to China is much more affordable, but out going calls to other countries like UK is only at RM 0.20/mins and calls to USA is at RM 0.18/mins.

this rate is for voice out right? how bout buddy same with voice out or not?

I know that during the initial download of the software, there will be some charges on the based on the data transferred via GPRS. But during the usage, ie. while making voice calls/ sms, will there be an additional charge from the mobile operator (Maxis/ Celcom/ Digi) on top of the UNOS credit?

Yes, UNOS requires data connectivity to function in order for you to download e-mail, send S-Mails and to trigger voice calls. Therefore, data charges may apply from your mobile operator.

If I'm using Malaysia sim in Vietnam.
The call charges will be in MYR or USD??

The call charges and currency depends on your UNOS PRO registered number. Meaning, if you sign up UNOS PRO midlet using a Malaysian number, it will show currency in Ringgit Malaysia (RM). It doesn't matter if you are using the midlet overseas, the currency stated is standard base according to the registered number (country SIM).
